The mayor of Crafts and Tourism, Gelen Delgado has advanced that during the 9th and 10th of September, Talavera de la Reina will receive the production team Mediarec Creatius Audiovisuals S.L., in charge of the creation of multimedia content for the CeramiTUR program.
During their stay, two exclusive masterclasses will be recorded, starring renowned local artisans:
These sessions will allow the essence of Talavera’s ceramic craftsmanship to be captured on video, so that it can be disseminated through CeramiTUR’s digital platform, currently under construction.
Likewise, the audiovisual team will record contents in the facilities of the “Virginia Manos Artesanas” Occupational Center, highlighting the work and creativity of the workshops that keep the ceramic tradition of Talavera alive.
With this initiative, CeramiTUR reinforces its commitment to disseminate the ceramic heritage through new digital formats, bringing it closer to wider audiences and ensuring its national and international projection.
The CeramiTUR program is promoted by the Spanish Association of Ceramic Cities and coordinated by the City Council of Talavera de la Reina, through the Department of Tourism and Crafts, with funding from the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Next Generation EU, under Council Regulation (EU) 2020/2094.
