The mayor of Tourism and Crafts, Gelen Delgado has advanced that today, September 11, CeramiTUR will be received at the Occupational Center for Cerebral Palsy APACE in Talavera de la Reina, to conduct a workshop that aims to enhance its users’ motor, sensory and expressive abilities through direct contact with the clay.

In this way CeramiTUR continues to reaffirm the value of art as a tool for inclusion, learning and integral development. Therefore, this project reaffirms its commitment to initiatives such as this one, which demonstrate that every child, regardless of their abilities, has enormous creative potential to discover and share.

These activities are part of the CeramiTUR program, promoted by the Spanish Association of Cities of Ceramics and coordinated locally by the City Council of Talavera de la Reina, through the Department of Crafts and Tourism, which aims to turn the ceramic heritage into a lively, structured and accessible tourist experience, encouraging citizen participation and pride in Talavera ceramics.

CERAMITUR, is funded through the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Next Generation EU, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2020/2094 of December 14, 2020.
