Talavera Collection 25

You can now visit the Talavera 25 Collection, a permanent exhibition of 24 large-scale ceramic sculptures created by local artists and workshops, which reinterprets the ceramic tradition from a contemporary and sustainable perspective.

What it is

  • A collection of 24 unique large-format pieces, using pottery, modelling, painting and glazing techniques designed to withstand outdoor conditions.
  • A dialogue between past and future: Talavera ceramics —Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO)— are reimagined through contemporary artistic languages.

Where it is located

  • 8 sculptures along Ronda del Cañillo and Avenida de la Fábrica de Sedas (an open-air urban gallery, minimum 120 × 120 × 180 cm per piece).
  • 16 sculptures at the Centro Isla de la Cerámica, integrated into its museographic route.
  • The ensemble is conceived as an open museum that brings together art, nature and the Tajo River.

Sustainability and quality

  • Production using clean energy and eco-friendly materials.
  • Compliance with the DNSH principle and ISO sustainability and quality standards.
  • Responsible logistics: safety, waste control and municipal coordination throughout manufacturing, transport and installation.

The Talavera 25 Collection has turned Talavera de la Reina into an open-air museum where ceramic tradition inspires sustainability, innovation and art for the 21st century.
