CeramiTUR invites you to discover the secrets of ceramics on a night tour of Talavera’s murals

The mayor of Crafts and Tourism, Gelen Delgado, has advanced that today, Friday, August 29, will be a guided tour of the most emblematic murals of the city of Ceramics, within the program of activities promoted by CeramiTUR.

Due to the success of past routes, we have continued with the spirit of showing ceramics to all citizens and take advantage of the summer days so that visitors can enjoy our museum outdoors. Discovering the details and secrets of the ceramic universe.

The event will take place at 21:30 hrs in the letters of Talavera next to the wall, being free access and registration through the tourist office, touring the main representative points such as the Mural of Mondas, Fishermen, Pharmacists, and other jewels of ceramics that flood our streets.

These activities are part of the CeramiTUR program, promoted by the Spanish Association of Cities of Ceramics and coordinated locally by the City Council of Talavera de la Reina, through the Department of Crafts and Tourism, which aims to turn the ceramic heritage into a lively, structured and accessible tourist experience, encouraging citizen participation and pride in Talavera ceramics.

CERAMITUR, is funded through the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Next Generation EU, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2020/2094 of December 14, 2020.
