CeramiTUR, through the Department of Crafts and Tourism, headed by Gelen Delgado, aims to enhance creative skills and autonomy, while promoting social inclusion, with that same idea we collaborate with the Occupational Center of Artisan Hands to conduct a craft workshop in their facilities.

This initiative is part of the center’s commitment to the personal and professional development of its users, offering a space in which they can express themselves, work in teams and acquire new skills through art and manual work.

CeramiTUR believes that “Craftsmanship is not only a means of expression, but also a therapeutic tool and an opportunity for integration. Each piece created reflects the dedication, creativity and talent of our participants”.

The workshop is aimed at users of the occupational center and has the support of professionals of the entity and collaborators in the activities of CeramiTUR.

With this initiative, CeramiTUR reinforces its commitment to disseminate the ceramic heritage through new digital formats, bringing it closer to wider audiences and ensuring its national and international projection.

The CeramiTUR program is promoted by the Spanish Association of Ceramic Cities and coordinated by the City Council of Talavera de la Reina, through the Department of Tourism and Crafts, with funding from the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Next Generation EU, under Council Regulation (EU) 2020/2094.
