The Talavera Tourist Office obtains an “A” in the audit of the Q for Quality in Tourism

The mayor of Tourism, Gelen Delgado, has announced that the Tourist Office of Talavera de la Reina has passed with “great success” the audit of the management system of the Q for Tourism Quality, achieving a score of 9.6 out of 10.

Delgado emphasized that this recognition, granted by the Spanish Institute for Tourism Quality (ICTE), endorses the excellence in visitor service and the constant commitment of the team to offer a professional, close and continuously improving service. He also stressed that the work of the Office highlights “the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the city and its surroundings”.

According to the mayor, having this certification guarantees tourists “accurate, clear and high quality information”, which contributes to enrich the experience of the thousands of people who choose Talavera as a destination every year.

The councilor wanted to recognize the work of the staff of the Tourist Office, ensuring that this achievement “is the result of their daily dedication and their efforts to provide excellent service to each visitor”.

The Department of Tourism considers that this distinction “strengthens the image of Talavera de la Reina as a quality tourist destination and will contribute to attract a greater number of visitors in the coming years”.

Delgado concluded by pointing out that the Q for Tourism Quality represents “trust, security and professionalism” and reiterated the City Council’s commitment to continue working to consolidate Talavera as “an attractive, accessible and welcoming destination, with a unique cultural and heritage offer”.
