The Councilor for Tourism and Crafts, Gelen Delgado, wants to highlight the collaboration with the Addictive Behavior Units of Talavera de la Reina, opening the doors of CeramiTUR along with the rest of the activities provided within the centers, in the different itineraries of inclusion.
This workshop is framed within a training course, which covers the entire ceramic process, being in this first session the clay and pottery the protagonists in their molding techniques, pieces that once dried in the craft workshops can be decorated in a second session following the steps of the typical canvases of our city and get a complete end result that covers the entire path that runs the sign of Intangible Heritage of Humanity recognized by UNESCO.
These activities are part of the CeramiTUR program, promoted by the Spanish Association of Cities of Ceramics and coordinated locally by the City Council of Talavera de la Reina, through the Department of Crafts and Tourism, which aims to turn the ceramic heritage into a lively, structured and accessible tourist experience, encouraging citizen participation and pride in Talavera ceramics.
