You can now visit the Talavera 25 Collection, a permanent exhibition of 24 large-scale ceramic sculptures created by local artists and workshops, which reinterprets the ceramic tradition from a contemporary and sustainable perspective.
What it is
- A collection of 24 unique large-format pieces, using pottery, modelling, painting and glazing techniques designed to withstand outdoor conditions.
- A dialogue between past and future: Talavera ceramics —Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO)— are reimagined through contemporary artistic languages.
Where it is located
- 8 sculptures along Ronda del Cañillo and Avenida de la Fábrica de Sedas (an open-air urban gallery, minimum 120 × 120 × 180 cm per piece).
- 16 sculptures at the Centro Isla de la Cerámica, integrated into its museographic route.
- The ensemble is conceived as an open museum that brings together art, nature and the Tajo River.
