New service area for motorhomes

Talavera de la Reina now has a new motorhome service area located on a municipal plot next to the Los Alfares Shopping Centre, designed for travellers who enjoy a free, sustainable lifestyle in close contact with nature. The project provides a comfortable, safe and fully equipped stopover within the urban area.

What it includes

• 18 parking spaces, including 1 adapted for people with reduced mobility.
• Drinking water supply for filling tanks.
• Grey and black water disposal points, with piping and watertight inspection chambers.
• Rest area with picnic tables and shaded areas.
• Accessible access, clear and inclusive signage, and environmental measures.

Sustainability

• Permeable paving and efficient sanitation and water supply networks.
• Planned installation of irrigation systems and tree planting to create a greener, more pleasant environment.
• The motorhome area promotes environmentally friendly tourism, encourages longer stays and supports sustainable mobility and the local economy, while positioning Talavera de la Reina as a “motorhome-friendly” destination in Spain and across Europe.
